World No. 1 Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah played only three Tests for Team India in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy due to workload management for which he faced a lot of criticism as well. But according to chief selector Ajit Agarkar, the 31-year-old speedster is ready and keen to play both the Tests against the West Indies.
Bumrah was included in India’s 15-member squad on Thursday, September 25, for the upcoming two-match Test series against the West Indies.
While speaking to reporters in Dubai during the squad announcement press conference, Agarkar when asked about Bumrah’s availability for the series said, “Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah ready and keen to play both Tests against West Indies."
