A devoted father working a second job delivering takeaways was crushed beneath his own vehicle when he attempted to prevent it from rolling downhill.
Ryan Harris had been taking on additional work two nights weekly alongside his primary role as a carpenter to provide extra income for his young family, reports CornwallLive .
However, on Monday evening, whilst completing a delivery, the young father-of-one was struck by his own vehicle and required emergency hospital treatment.
On Dennison Road in Bodmin, close to the Cardell Road junction, he had parked his car to complete an order. He subsequently noticed the vehicle beginning to roll downhill and dashed out in an attempt to halt it.
