The brutal rape, torture, and murder of three women have been broadcast live on TikTok, according to police reports. Authorities are investigating this horrific crime, which saw around 45 viewers witness the gruesome acts in a closed group on the social media platform.
The victims have been identified as Lara Gutierrez, aged 15, Brenda del Castillo, 20, and Morena Verdi, 21. Local news sources indicate that the women were accused of stealing cocaine by a narco gang. They were lured to a so-called “horror house” located approximately 20 miles from their homes in Buenos Aires.
Once there, the women were subjected to extreme violence. Reports detail that one victim had her fingers amputated, while another was suffocated with a plastic bag. This brutal act is being described as a “revenge killing,” allegedly ordered by the gang leader.
The crime boss, identified as a Peruvian national, is believed to have fled Argentina following the incident. It is reported that he ordered the killings as a warning to others, stating, “This is what happens to you if you steal drugs from me.”
Javier Alonso, Buenos Aires’ security minister, confirmed that the horrific scenes were filmed and streamed online. He stated, “It was for a closed group of around 45 people. That’s the information we have obtained so far from the investigation.” The investigation continues as authorities seek to hold those responsible accountable.
