The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday announced the appointment of election in-charges and co-in-charges for upcoming assembly elections in Bihar, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu.
For Bihar, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been made election in-charge. Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and Union Jal Shakti Minister CR Patil will serve as co-in-charges.
In West Bengal, Union Environment Minister Bhupendra Yadav has been appointed as in-charge, with former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb named co-in-charge.
For Tamil Nadu, BJP MP Baijayant Panda has been made election in-charge, while Muralidhara Mohol will serve as co-in-charge.
