Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed election in-charges for Bihar and Tamil Nadu, two states that will be holding assembly elections. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has been named as the election in-charge for Bihar, with Union Minister CR Patil and former Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya assisting him.

For Tamil Nadu, BJP MP from Kendrapara Baijayant Panda has been appointed as the election in-charge, with Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol as his assistant. Panda, who hails from Odisha, had previously overseen the Delhi Assembly elections in 2024, where the BJP achieved a notable victory.
