NATO has sent a warship-sized warning to Vladimir Putin and Russia amid rising fears of the outbreak of World War III . ‌

The transatlantic alliance, which includes the US, the United Kingdom, France and 29 other member states, conducted its latest Neptune Strike exercise earlier this week — spearheaded by the world's most powerful warship. ‌

Led by the USS Gerald R Ford, a formation of allied vessels sailed through the North Sea as part of a major demonstration of maritime strength directed at deterring Russian aggression. ‌
