Rodgers is in the final nine months of the three-year deal he signed when he agreed to return to Parkhead for a second stint as manager. ‌

But the Irishman was unhappy over the club’s summer recruitment strategy - a repeat of the issue that forced him into a shock departure first time around.

There has been no clear indication he will extend his stay - if he is even offered a new contact - and Doyle is convinced he will walk and won’t be short of English Premier League offers.
