CHESTERFIELD, Va. (WWBT) - A Richmond man has been arrested and charged in a suspected road rage shooting nearly two weeks ago.
At 5:15 p.m. Sept. 13, Chesterfield police officers received a report about a shooting on Midlothian Turnpike near Stonehenge Village Shopping Center.
“The preliminary investigation indicated the victim and suspect were involved in some kind of road rage interaction as they traveled west on Midlothian Turnpike toward its intersection with Walmart Way,” police said Thursday. “In the 12200 block of Midlothian Turnpike, the suspect vehicle pulled up to the right of the victim’s vehicle and the suspect fired a gun at the victim’s vehicle.”
The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
Police later identified the suspect as Armardi A. Johnson.
