ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - One runway has been reopened after an airliner went off a runway at Roanoke-Blacksburg Regional Airport Wednesday night, according to airport officials.

United Flight 4339 was arriving from Dulles International Airport shortly before 10 p.m.

The plane overshot the landing and when it touched down, there wasn’t enough runway stop, according to Virginia State Police.
