THOMSON, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Authorities are looking for information related to a shooting that left one person injured in Thomson earlier this week.

The GBI and Thomson Police Department are looking for 40-year-old Jimmy Lavont Mance in relation to the shooting.

The GBI says the shooting happened on Bussey Avenue around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday.

One person was taken to the hospital for their injuries, according to officials.

Mance is wanted on two counts of aggravated assault in connection to the shooting, according to the GBI.

Mance was last seen leaving the scene on foot. He may have access to a 2018 Bronze Chevy Tahoe.

The GBI says Mance is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 911.
