Audra Hull, 37, is originally from Texas, but moved to Alaska with her husband, who was from Fairbanks. She holds a degree in Recreation Leadership with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation from BYU–Idaho. Hull has six children, four of those children attend public schools. She is a small business owner with her husband, and used to work with individuals with disabilities.

“I’m not running to push a political agenda — I’m running to represent the voices of parents, educators, and students who care about quality education and common-sense leadership,” Hull says in election material published by the Fairbanks North Star Borough. “If elected, I will prioritize literacy growth, expand Career and Technical Education (CTE), promote student-centered budgeting, and focus on increasing enrollment
