Santander has issued a major update to customers and said it will last until 2032. Santander, the high street bank with branches in Birmingham , has confirmed the renewal of its sponsorship of London’s cycle hire scheme until 2032.

Santander and Transport for London (TfL) have been working in partnership since 2015 to keep active travel in London accessible to all through Santander Cycles.

London’s cycle hire scheme has seen 6.1 million hires in 2025 so far, a 3 per cent increase on this time last year.
