Coming off a fourth-place finish last season, the Union men’s hockey team has been picked to finish fifth in the ECAC Hockey coaches preseason poll, the conference announced Thursday.

The fourth-place finish was the highest under head coach Josh Hauge, who begins his fourth season behind the bench. The Garnet Chargers were 12-8-2 for 40 points in ECACH play, and 19-14-3 overall.
