A 16-year-old Pittsburgh high school student has been arrested after three students were stabbed during an altercation on Wednesday.

Anthony Taulton has been charged with three counts of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of possession of weapons on school property and possession instruments of a crime in connection with the incident, according to TribLive.

The attack occurred at about 8:30 a.m., inside the front doors of Carrick High School in Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh Public Schools said a statement on Wednesday hat a student “used a small knife to injure three other students.”

“It stemmed from an altercation in the hallway. It wasn’t a random … someone stabbing people in the hallway,” Pittsburgh police spokesperson Cara Cruz told TribLive.
