Two men have been arrested in connection with the death of a woman who was discovered with a gunshot wound inside a crashed vehicle in Orange County.

On Sept. 9, the Orange County Sheriff's Office received a call regarding a vehicle crash with shots fired around 2:10 a.m.

The incident happened along Sand Lake Road near South Orange Blossom Trail.

The victim, Karimar Nicole Rios, was found inside the car with gunshot wounds. She later died at the hospital, according to OCSO.

On Wednesday, deputies arrested 20-year-old Jonathan Martinez and 20-year-old Joshua Benitez Rodriguez.

Deputies said they were charged with second-degree murder with a firearm and shooting or throwing a deadly missile into an occupied vehicle.
