A gang of thieves followed a jewellery salesman traveling from Sussex to Kent to steal stock worth more than two million pounds. On January 18 2024, the victim had been working in Brighton selling jewellery to several businesses and carrying precious items with a retail value of around £2.25million.

His movements were tracked by Edgar Ardila-Ruiz, Monica Diaz and Edward Florez-Ortiz, Ortiz operated under an alias of Victor Chavez-Gutierrez, and when his business was concluded they closely tailed his vehicle as it headed back to Kent.
