William Shatner is “perfectly fine” — and denying any speculation to the contrary — after he was briefly hospitalized Wednesday in Los Angeles as a precautionary measure.
A rep for the two-time Emmy winner , 94, confirmed to TMZ that the “Star Trek” alum was taken to a local hospital due to “an issue with his blood sugar” while at home.
His agent, Harry Gold, confirmed that the nonagenarian is “fine” after the short hospital stint and is back home.
Shatner also confirmed his health status on Instagram late Thursday morning, sharing a misquoted version of Mark Twain denying “greatly exaggerated” reports of his own death .
“I over indulged,” wrote Shatner. “I thank you all for caring but I’m perfectly fine . I keep telling you all: don’t trust tabloids or AI!”
