UPDATE: There are currently bookings for two planes — not just one — towing protest banners to fly over MetLife Stadium before the 0-3 Giants face the 3-0 Chargers on Sunday, according to Dave Dempsey, who owns the Woodbine-based company, High Exposure Aerial Advertising, that flies the planes. A third plane is tentatively scheduled, Dempsey said.
One of the banners, connected with a GoFundMe campaign , was initially scheduled to read: “MR MARA ENOUGH IS ENOUGH CLEAN HOUSE.” The campaign had raised $2,505 as of Thursday morning — enough to finance the plane rental. Dempsey said that message has not yet been officially locked in, though the plane has been booked.
The message for the second plane remains wholly unclear, as does the message for the third, not-yet-scheduled plane.
