As the 2025 New Jersey high school girls volleyball season picks up steam, NJ.com will be highlighting the state’s top players.

Our first list focuses on the premier liberos and defensive specialists in Group 4. These players combine exceptional passing, digging, serving and court leadership to keep their teams in contention.

We contacted volleyball coaches across the state and asked them to fill out a survey requesting information about their top players. These lists were compiled primarily based on the information provided by the coaches who chose to respond.
