Nashville-based oncology company Thyme Care has announced a $97 million Series D funding round to support growth in coordinated cancer care.

The late-stage venture capital funding effort was led by current investors CVS Health Ventures, Foresite Capital, a16z Bio + Health, Concord Health Partners, Town Hall Ventures, AlleyCorp and Frist Cressey Ventures, according to a release.

New investors include Morgan Health, a division of JPMorganChase focused on employer-sponsored health care, as well as Humana, Texas Oncology and Memorial Hermann Health System.

The company, which was founded in July 2020 by Robin Shah and Bobby Green and provides cancer patient navigation and support services, said it intends to use the funds to expand operations and development efforts.
