If asked, the average Canadian would probably greenlight the justice system being pulverized into mush and rebuilt from scratch.

Lousy judges, lousy laws, and an entire system hijacked by the faculty lounge, the activists, and the caring professions have left Canadians more vulnerable than ever to violent criminals.

And no one is more vulnerable than children.

On Monday night, St. Catharines city councillors added their voices to a growing call for the feds to make the national sex offender registry publicly accessible.

“The reality is people have had enough,” said Coun. Kevin Townsend, who brought a motion to council following the shocking August sex attack on a Welland toddler . “People do not want to deal with this anymore. And the reality is we want our communities to be safe.”
