DAVENPORT, Iowa (WAND) — One week after announcing his resignation as Decatur's city manager , Tim Gleason was hired Wednesday night as Davenport's interim city administrator.
The city council voted unanimously to approve a six-month agreement with Gleason , which takes effect on November 3 and expires on May 3, 2026.
This agreement can be extended up to November 1, 2026 and can be terminated at any time with 30-days notice from either the city or Gleason.
Per the agreement, Gleason will make $6,413 weekly and will be provided a housing allowance.
Gleason announced his resignation from his position in Decatur on September 16 after less than two years into his second stint as city manager.
