The “Spaceballs 2” cast was confirmed Thursday as Amazon MGM Studios shared a photo from the upcoming sequel’s first table read.

The picture confirms Rick Moranis (Lord Dark Helmet), Bill Pullman (Lone Starr), Mel Brooks (Yogurt and President Skroob), Daphne Zuniga (Princess Vespa) and George Wyner (Colonel Sandurz) are all reprising their roles from Brooks’ 1987 “Star Wars” spoof. 11

Brooks, 99, appears on Zoom in the center of the group photo, surrounded by the cast and creatives. Brooks is writing the sequel’s script with Josh Gad, Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez.

New cast members Gad, Keke Palmer, Lewis Pullman and Anthony Carrigan also appear in the photo. They are all playing new characters. 11
