A renowned director of indie films — who also published a well-known memoir — has died.

He was 87 years old.

Deadline reports how news of the death of Henry Jaglom — the London, England-born director whose films included “Babyfever (1994),” “Last Summer in the Hamptons (1995),” and “Going Shopping (2005)” — was announced by his daughter, Sabrina Jaglom.

“My father passed at home [in Santa Monica, California] on Monday with my brother Simon and I and [ex-wife] Victoria Foyt by his side,” she informed the publication.

According to The Guardian , Jaglom was known as a bit of a maverick director in the film-making world, whose works focused on relationships and human behavior. TheWrap states that Jaglom’s career boasts more than 20 films across five decades.
