MEDICINE LAKE, Mont. – A bridge on West Lake Road across Big Muddy Creek will close for all traffic indefinitely, according to Sheridan County Dispatch.

The bridge was originally scheduled to be replaced in 2024, but is now being pushed to 2027.

Routine inspections by the Montana Department of Transportation have determined the bridge is unsafe and must be closed.

Sheridan County Dispatch said they are working to provide an alternate route.
