WENATCHEE, Wash. – A press conference on the investigation into Travis Decker and his reported death will be held in Wenatchee at 4:00 p.m. today.
The U.S. Marshals Service said in court documents Wednesday that Decker was dead. However, the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office said they can’t conclude their investigation because DNA evidence has not yet been received.
Skeletal remains that appeared to be Decker were found near Grindstone Mountain on September 19.
Decker is accused of murdering his three young daughters at a campground outside Leavenworth in June.
