HENRY COUNTY, Va. — An Eden man has been arrested for driving under the influence after troopers said he was in a head-on collision that killed two people, including an 11-year-old boy.

According to the Virginia State Police, troopers were called to the scene of the crash in Axton, VA, just after 7:15 p.m. After arriving on scene, troopers learned that a Cadillac was going south on Axton Road when it crossed the centerline and hit a Nissan.

The driver of the Nissan, 45-year-old Misty Lynn Holland of Stoneville, died on the scene, troopers said.

Three other passengers were aboard the Nissan, including 11-year-old Keontae Devon Hilderbrand, who also died on the scene, troopers said.

Virginia State Police said both victims were wearing seatbelts.
