CANTON, OH — Several former Detroit Lions are among those nominated for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame.

They include most notably, wide receiver Herman Moore, offensive lineman Lomas Brown and longtime kicker Jason Hanson.

Wideout Anquan Boldin, quarterback Jeff Garcia and kicker David Akers who spent time with the team in the mid to late 2000s and 2010s are also on the list.

A committee will narrow the list down from 128 nominees to 50.

Those 50 will be whittled down to 25 semifinalists.

Another vote will name the 15 finalists.

The Class of 2026 can consist of three, four or five Modern-Era Players under the Hall of Fame’s bylaws.
