CALDWELL, Ohio (WJW) – An Ohio sheriff’s office announced a major methamphetamine bust following a traffic stop.

According to the Noble County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a driver on state Route 78 in Caldwell on Tuesday.

The sheriff’s office said the driver was stopped for multiple moving violations.

K-9 Cora was also on the scene. Deputies said she alerted to narcotics in an “open-air sniff” around the vehicle.

Deputies found a bag containing more than three-quarters of a pound of suspected methamphetamine.

Deputies arrested Timothy McMahon, of West Virginia, on charges of aggravated possession of drugs and aggravated drug trafficking.
