Well, he isn’t the Alabama coach anymore.

Kalen DeBoer is and nobody’s sure if he’s ready for lights this bright.

This isn’t the finesse Pac-12 anymore.

We play big-boy football in the SEC.

And there’s no boy bigger than Kirby Smart, the rightful heir to the throne who is set to bury Alabama and DeBoer once and for all.

Did I do that right?

The narratives swirling around Alabama’s trip to Athens on Saturday make for great theater.

Certainly, the Crimson Tide needs a performance to prove the FSU fiasco was a fluke.

But does Kirby Smart need it more?
