Diljit Dosanjh has earned a Best Actor nomination at the International Emmy Awards 2025 for his portrayal of Punjabi folk legend Chamkila.

In a proud moment for India, singer-turned-actor Diljit Dosanjh has received a nomination for the ‘Best Performance by an Actor’ for the film Amar Singh Chamkila at the esteemed International Emmy Awards 2025. Apart from Diljit, Imtiaz Ali’s film Chamkila has also been nominated for Best TV Movie. Diljit’s recognition comes for his terrific portrayal of Punjabi folk legend Chamkila in his biopic.
