STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pete Davidson shared more personal details about his father, FDNY Firefighter Scott Davidson, during a new podcast appearance.

During Tuesday’s episode of comedian Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend,” the Staten Island native spoke candidly about losing his dad in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and how the grief has evolved as he’s gotten older.

“I was really young, so I didn’t even really know what the f--- happened and it hit me later like when I was in college. I was like, ‘Oh, I’m pretty angry about this,’” Davidson said.

Davidson recalled that his father’s firehouse, Brooklyn’s Ladder Co. 118/Engine Co. 205, was among the first to respond that morning and suffered devastating losses with eight firefighters killed that day .
