STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Pete Davidson thinks Colin Jost is a little more “island” than “Staten.”

During an appearance Tuesday on Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, Davidson reflected on his friendship with his fellow Staten Island comedian, joking about their unlikely bond.

“That’s my Staten Island brother right there,” Davidson said. “I mean, from a good part [of Staten Island], clearly. It looks a little different.”

The Great Kills native described Jost, formerly of Grymes Hill, as his “polar opposite” in many ways — but someone he immediately clicked with.

“We’re from the same island, but it’s like he golfs, you know, and I’m like, what the f--- is that?” Davidson said. “We have golf clubs in Staten Island? I had no idea.”

He added that Jost’s tour stops often feature fan
