At 12:51 p.m. on Thursday, the National Weather Service released an updated tornado warning in effect until 1:15 p.m. for Delaware County.

"At 12:51 p.m., a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Arkville, or 18 miles southeast of Delhi, moving northeast at 35 mph," says the weather service. "Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely."

The tornado is projected to possibly affect Fleischmanns around 12:55 p.m.
