The Warren County Sheriff’s Office has joined the area Crime Stoppers program, expanding opportunities for community members to report crime anonymously and securely.
The Sheriff’s Office announced on Thursday in a news release the agency had joined Winchester-Frederick-Clarke Crime Stoppers. The Sheriff’s Office aims to increase tip flow and community engagement in crime prevention, making it easier and safer for individuals to report suspicious or criminal activity anonymously, according to the release.
The Sheriff’s Office will include direct links to the P3 anonymous tip platform in the agency’s website and in its “Attempt to Identify” social media posts.
Crime Stoppers may offer cash rewards for tips that lead to arrests. Rewards are funded by donations and community support.
