WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (WKYT) - Less than two months into the school year, many parents are voicing concerns online about bullying in one Kentucky county.
One parent tells WKYT, despite repeated reports of bullying, “You can’t get ahold of them and they don’t address it.”
“Bullying has been a concern that has been addressed specifically from students,” Lori Jones, the district’s new superintendent. “This was already on my radar and we knew that we needed to approach it”
Jones said online bullying is the district’s main problem.
One parent shared on social media that a Woodford County student made a fake Instagram account with her son’s name. She claims that the student then made violent threats and only received a three-day suspicion.
