UPDATE: Almost three years after now former 20th TV executive Nissa Diederich and Disney were accused retaliation, blacklisting and more in a $1 million and more lawsuit from stuntman Jimmy Sharp, the whole matter has crashed and burned.

A Los Angles Superior Court judge has tossed out the action by the son of Jim Sharp Sr after hearing arguments from lawyers on both sides earlier this month on a dismissal motion by the House of Mouse. Judge Alison Mackenzie made her ruling on September 9, but it became public Thursday.

Disney did not respond to Deadline’s request for comment today, but, after the harsh week the Bob Iger-run company has had over the temporary suspension of Jimmy Kimmel, a win of any measure has to feel good in Burbank.
