BIG RAPIDS — A member of the Ferris State Women’s Golf Team has been named Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week.

Kamryn Shannon took home the honor after leading the Bulldogs to a third-place team finish at the Warrior Invitational held Sept. 22-23, in Washington, Michigan.

The Jackson native carded scores of 72 in round one, 73 in round two and 74 in the final round while finishing in a four-way tie atop the leaderboard.

It was her second top five finish in two fall competitions this year.

Ferris State plays host to the Bulldog Fall Classic this weekend in Big Rapids.
