A variety of businesses — including a amusement park in Farmington, a bar and several restaurants — received liquor licenses Thursday during the latest Utah Department of Alcoholic Beverage Services (DABS) meeting.

The DABS’ liquor commission awarded licenses to serve beer and wine to three restaurants; bar licenses to a pub in Milford and the amusement park; a license to sell beer at a beach volleyball venue; and full liquor licenses to nine restaurants.

The Lagoon Amusement Park , which currently can serve beer in its Biergarten, was approved for a full liquor license for a private club opening at the park next spring, said Adam Leishman, creative director for the park.

Leishman said the new amenity will be similar to The Walt Disney Co.’s Club 33 — an exclusive, members-only club
