WARREN, Ohio (WKBN) -- The case against a man charged after the accidental shooting of a child is bound over to a Trumbull County grand jury.

Nirrell Frank faces a felony endangering children charge. He's also charged with cruelty to companion animals.

Frank remains free on a $50,000 bond.

Police were called to the hospital last week for a child who had been shot in the finger. The police report states the child was playing with a weapon.

Police also found five neglected dogs during the investigation.
