Two online gaming apps have been sued by a New Jersey mother and her young daughter after the girl was allegedly targeted by a man pretending to be a boy and convincing her to send sexually explicit photos.

According to the lawsuit filed in the Superior Court of Camden County, the young female victim was just 11 years old when she was connecting with friends online using Roblox and Discord.

While on these apps, the girl started a conversation with a older man who was pretending to be a young boy online, lawyers said.
