AUBURN — The drum continues to beat on the officiating miscue that didn't go Auburn football 's way in its 24-17 loss to then-No. 12 Oklahoma last weekend, as Auburn athletic director John Cohen released a statement, Thursday, Sept. 25, nearly a week after the contest.

Cohen's thoughts came after several comments from Hugh Freeze , as well as a statement from the SEC on Saturday, Sept. 20, following the game. Cohen said he and Auburn University President Dr. Chris Roberts have had "extensive conversations" with the league, as well as its commissioner, Greg Sankey, in the days since.
