LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

PRP picked up its first win in dramatic fashion, outlasting archrival Butler 26–20 in overtime on a quarterback keeper by Calvon Mitchell. The victory extends the Panthers’ streak over the Bears to six straight.

Head coach Kenneth Walker praised the trench play and the ground game.

“I have full confidence and trust in the O-line and the running back corps, and they got the job done,” he said.

Walker said the decisive play was drawn up for Mitchell.

“The play was designed for the quarterback to score, and when I looked in his eyes, I knew he could do it. The guys who ask for the ball are the guys you want to give it to.”

Junior Caden Cain said the win was about composure and unity.
