LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lancaster County Engineering has submitted its latest “One and Six-Year Road and Bridge Construction Program” plan, with dozens of projects for the county to review in mid October.
Every year, Lancaster County’s Engineering department gives an update on projects happening within the year, and looking ahead to the next five years, where funding has already been allocated.
While dozens of projects for road and bridge work is line itemed, some stand as a top priority.
Happening right now, and expected to be finished by the end of 2025, is construction of a new bridge on Waverly Road, near NW 40th Street, and soon to be over Oak Creek.
