COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Colorado Springs Utilities and a Colorado Springs resident all teamed up to help relocate a bear that was found in the city yesterday.

They said witnesses reported that the bear was hit by a car Tuesday night and was on the ground for about 30 minutes before running off.

Parks and Wildlife officials said the bear was about two to three years old.

According to wildlife officials, the bear was spotted behind a home Wednesday morning before climbing into a tree.

CPW said they were able to relocate her to a better bear habitat west of Rye.
