Court records show new disturbing details surrounding a killing at a hotel near the New Orleans French Quarter.

Feliciana Winniford was arrested and booked into the Orleans Parish jail on suspicion of second-degree murder in connection with the death of a 72-year-old man. Advertisement

According to court documents, the man, who has not been identified by the coroner, was found dead in a hotel room at Homewood Suites.

The man had a plastic bag over his head and was found bound and beaten, according to court documents.

Court records show a hotel staff member entered the room for maintenance when they found the man on the floor of the hotel room.

The staff member also reported broken furniture and blood around the victim and the room.
