WEST MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Schools are calling on business owners to partner with them.

The West Monroe-West Ouachita Chamber of Commerce has an Adopt-a-School program to help schools like Ouachita Junior High to enhance their student experience

“Ouachita Junior High is always in need of community partners,” Ouachita Junior High Principal Darron Underwood said. “Those are the things that make our school special. I feel like we have a budding population. I feel like we also have a just this growth story in our school that, you know, I feel like every business should want to be a part of. I feel like we have a few community partners now. We’re always seeking to increase that number. ”
