Tech giant Microsoft has terminated the access of the Israeli military to their technology that enabled Tel Aviv to surveil Palestinian civilians by collecting the millions of phone calls that they would make every day in Gaza as well as the West Bank, The Guardian has learnt.

Earlier, Microsoft had seen protests by some of its employees, accusing the company of being complicit in alleged abuse of human rights by Israel in Gaza.
