Track and field is not currently in season, but Saint Francis senior Hannah Boersema is still plenty busy.

In addition to preseason practice and classes, the Cougars thrower and heptathlete has an internship at Heartell Press, a business that uses letterpress printing to create greeting cards and wall art, and she also works at Fingerle Farms Greenhouse in her hometown of Churubusco.

And then there's the biggest of her projects, at least by square footage. Boersema is one of three local artists selected to assist work on the "Echoes of the Future" mural, which covers 15,000 feet on the Union Parking Garage at Electric Works. The enormous project, which is being led by Australian muralist Damien Mitchell, was dedicated on Wednesday and is scheduled to be finished by Oct. 3.
