SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Shreveport Regional Airport has been hard at work making major upgrades to the airport.
“It’s the portal of the community. We are on track to have 800,000 passengers travel through our airport this year 2025 up 17% from last year. First impressions are everything,” Shreveport Regional Airport Director Larry Blackwell said.
Shreveport Regional Airport has been going through a transformation to get it up to speed in 2025. In fact, one of the biggest issues has been the lack of parking. Now, that has been taken care of.
“We have a project for expanding the parking lot since august of last year were expecting to open up by end of September. We are in design for another 400 parking spaces and additional shuttles to assist passengers.”
